About Me/ Company

CatznDogznFurryFriends was set up just over a year ago as I felt this was a much needed service in my area. I have always loved animals and grew up with collie dogs and a lovely tabby called "Biscuit" who lived to the grand age of 15. I have now got over 25 customers and have met some wonderful animals and their owners, many of whom are now very close friends. I am fully insured, CRB checked and run a competent, reliable, trustworthy and animal friendly service.

Previous Experience

I have many customers who own several cats and also look after a customer's menagerie of 15 cats/kittens (pedigree cats who are housed inside or outdoors in pens) all of whom I adore. I have also been lucky in taking care of many other animals, including dogs, guinea pigs, tortoises, fish and rabbits. I often stay in customer's homes and look after their animals and homes whilst they are aware on holiday, walk dogs, do pop in visits to check and feed cats, clean litter trays, water plants, open curtains, take in mail to give their house that "lived in look" whilst they are aware and generally giving my customers "peace of mind" whilst they are away that their beloved pets are being well cared for, mentally stimulated, groomed, fed, exercised and their health checked and monitored and appropriate action taken when necessary.

Relevant Info

I have references from my many customers now and feel really proud that many of them are now close friends and use my services several times during the year and am always pleased that the animals really seem to like me (which is really a good thing for a pet sitter) and we have grown a close bond together. I look after a very poorly boxer dog, who unfortunately has cancer, and needs a lot of medication during the day and lots of cuddles and fussing and cannot be left on his own. I also do lots of "pop in" visits for different breeds of pedigree cats including Siamese, Ragdoll, Selkirk and other breeds such as tabbies and more common varieties. I love my work and am happy and delighted to be involved in such a worthwhile job and looking after these wonderful animals.

Other Services

Ensuring that all the animals I look after are well cared for, diet and medication followed as per owner's wishes. Exercise and mental stimulation, grooming, cuddles and affection, lots of pampering and special attention given to ensure that the owners are happy and have a relaxing holiday knowing that their treasured pets are being well looked after and cared for and having their "own little holiday" too. I also walk and exercise dogs, house sit, open curtains, take in mail to give the home that "lived in look", water plants and ensure that both the pets and homes are well looked after and the security of the home is maintained.
