About Me/ Company

I have been running Creature Comforts now for 4 years, as I love all four legged things especially cats. I was born into a family of cat lovers and I have been rescuing cats for over 30 years especially the high risk ones such as the ill, elderly, pregnant and nursing mums. So I have a wealth of experience with all types of cats.

Creature Comforts is family run with only myself and my husband looking after our 4 legged clients. No employees, no franchise, so you know just who will be looking after your cat and your home. No franchise means that we have no costs to recoup so we can keep our prices low, so high quality care for a reasonable cost.

Both my husband and I are CRB checked and insured for peace of mind.

Previous Experience

I have been involved in cat rescue for over 30 years and so have a wealth of experience with cats of all different shapes, sizes and temperament.

I am a member of the British Veterinary Nurse Association and I update myself with the same CPD (continuing professional development) as vet nurses.

I research the latest vet practice on feline medicine and welfare

Relevant Info

As well as routine holiday/owner away care. I am able to medicate and to offer post op and convalescence care. it is a worrying time while you cannot be with you much loved cat if he/she has been ill, so I can pop in and monitor the patient for you. While I will administer wormers and flea care and routine over the counter meds all other medication must be prescribed by a vet with dispensing label on it.

I am also happy to groom and clip nails as well as check the overall condition of the cat. I also monitor eating and drinking as well as anything that has been deposited in the litter tray.

Cats are played with or fussed whatever they prefer.

I offer rabbit and small animal boarding as well as pop in care for a wide range of animals, from horses down to goldfish!
