About Me/ Company

Here at Happy Paws we provide a full cat sitting service including In house sitting for short or longer durations or regular visits including Feeding, cleaning cat litters, playing with/cuddling (if they allow it!!) and keeping your furry loved one company and amused. We are two ladies who are big cat lovers and have been looking after cats for over 6 years professionally and over 40 years personally.

Cats are very territorial, so are less stressed and are happier in their own environment rather than in a cattery. It’s a win win for you and your cat. They stay in familiar surroundings and you have one thing less to worry about. By choosing to use the services of a cat sitter, you don’t have to impose on a friend, neighbour or relative to care for your pet, but instead rely on a pet care professional who will put your pet’s needs first.

Other duties while visiting your cats can include bringing in the mail, closing/opening blinds/curtains, watering plants and turning lights on and off to give your home an occupied look. We do however advise clients to use an automatic timer.

Our usually service includes making sure your cat/cats have fresh water and food, clean feeding bowls, feeding area, litter tray as well as play and cuddle with your kitty. We can also administer medication if needed.

We can also cater to your cat’s daily/weekly grooming needs while you are away, and can administer medication as required. If we notice a change in eating habits or anything else, we will make sure it is detailed for you to view when you get back. Should we become very concerned, we will of course contact you and will take your cat to a vet if needed. We can also give you regular updates if requested so you are assured that your beloved furry member of the family is well and being taken good care of.

We come out first to all our clients to meet you and your babies and to get a feel for how you like things to be done as everyone is used to a different routine.

Qualifications & Training

Currently taking a diploma course in Animal Psychology.
Fully DBS (police) checked.

Relevant Info

Our charges start from £11.50 per hour but we do negotiate on our prices for long durations or regular clients.
