Hi,
My name is Kath, and my husband and I need someone to feed our cat and provide a little company while we are away. He is a rescue cat who was treated very badly when he was a kitten, and can be very nervous with new people, and sudden movements or noises.
Unfortunately he was dumped at the local RSPCA at night in a storm, trapped in a cardboard box as a very small kitten and is terrified of being put into a basket, which makes taking him anywhere extremely unpleasant for all of us! We really need a gentle loving soul to look after him while we're away. He's quite self contained (as long as he's fed!) and doesn't seem to mind being on his own, but he is used to being fed twice a day, and if we can afford this, it's what we would prefer to arrange. (He's also very good at begging for more!)
Thank you for helping us out, and please also note that we would certainly want to employ the successful candidate for subsequent occasions too - if Tink agrees! We would expect to pay the hourly rate for each visit but would be very pleased if the successful candidate could spend some time with him on these occasions. We look forward to hearing from you.
