Reliability and a compassionate animal lover who loves to pamper our 2 cats - 1 lives outdoors in the barn and the other, an ex feral who doesn't have a bad bone in his body, he's just a little shy having had trauma and cancer until we rescued him. A snuggle puss once he gets to know you; he lives solely indoors in his own room. 10th - 21st October
Feeding 2 cats, changing 1 litter tray, feeding and watering 2 hens with light daily sweeping out of their pen - it is on hard standing so doesn't become too dirty. Keeping an eye on them whilst the roam around the garden. I work from home so the cats are used to someone being around most of the day and not left for more than 4 hours at a time.
We live in a regency cottage in a small village in Breckland, Norfolk between Wymondham and Dereham. Our village is not served with public transport, nor do we have a shop, so you would need a car to get about, but it's very quiet with stunning scenery and plenty of country walks and cycle rides from our doorstep, along with many opportunities for places of interest.
We do need references and need to meet you in person before the assigment. Non-smokers a must. We are vegetarian and if you are a meat eater may we suggest you bring your own pans to cook with :-).
