Hi folks. I'm not looking for a cat sitter straight away, but to connect with a suitable sitter and have contact details to hand in case I get taken into hospital. :-) I like to be prepared, just in case!
Harris is a 7-year-old, very sweet rescue cat, is diabetic and has twice-daily insulin injections - an 8am feed / injection and 8pm feed / injection. He has a couple of snacks during the day but if a sitter isn't able to do that, then dry food can be left. He does not go out at all - he is FIV positive, although symptom-free - and if he got into a fight might transmit it.
Litter tray emptying - he has a grain-free high protein diet so his poos aren't messy, and it's all scooped up into little eco bags and put in a bin. Easy-peasy.
He's a little treasure and is fine with his injections.
